Turkey Legs (Thigh and Drumstick)

Contrary to popular belief, a turkey leg is more than just the drumstick. It is actually made up of the drumstick and thigh together, and are a great alternative to a whole turkey for smaller groups. Traditionally, roasting is the preferred method of cooking, but they can also be braised, grilled, or slow-cooked in a crock pot. A great way to cook them is to bake in a 350-degree oven while basting with herb butter. Delicious!
