Top Neck Clams (Dozen)

Top Neck Clams

There was a time when the shells of Top Neck Clams were used as currency by the Indigenous population of North America.  Today, they’re prized for their sweet flavor.  Top Neck Clams are slightly larger – about 4 clams per pound – than Middle Neck Clams.  Like Middle Necks, they’re a great source of Potassium and Iron. Top Necks are great steamed and are also tasty when used in chowders…and they’re perfect for making stuffed clams.
