Also known as the Caribbean Spiny Lobster and West Indies Spiny Lobster, Florida Lobsters are found in tropical and subtropical waters throughout the southern coasts of Florida and the Caribbean. Unlike their counterparts from Maine, Florida Lobsters do not have big, meaty claws. It’s the tail meat that makes them desirable. Florida Lobster tails are delicious grilled or stuffed with seafood stuffing and broiled. Florida lobster meat is also delicious in spaghetti sauce and lobster bisque.
