Sand Bream

Also known as Mojarra, Sand Bream can be found in the Gulf of Mexico. The meat of sand bream is light and flaky and is delicious grilled or pan-fried. One of the more popular ways of preparing sand bream is cleaning and gutting the fish, then scoring each side before poaching. Coconut milk is a good liquid to use when poaching sand bream. Other options for seasoning include curry, which pairs nicely with the coconut milk.
