Red Snapper

Perhaps the largest of the Snapper family, Red Snapper can grow over 3 feet long and weigh as much as 35 pounds. Its firm flesh makes red snapper ideal for grilling (try wrapping in a wet banana leaf before tossing on the grill) or pan-frying, although it is also delicious baked. Grilling red snapper on a cedar planks adds a whole new dimension of flavor. Delaware’s red snapper is responsibly and sustainably sourced off local waters.
