Once endangered due to overharvesting and overdevelopment, the Chesapeake Oyster has made a remarkable comeback!  This low-calorie bivalve is loaded with protein, Omega 3s, vitamins and minerals for a healthy immune system.  Delaware’s Chesapeake Oysters are meaty and delicious, no matter how you enjoy them!  Sautee in white wine, broil for Oysters Rockefeller, or eat ’em fresh off the half-shell! (NOTE:  Raw Oysters and other raw shellfish should not be consumed by people who are immunocompromised.)
