Here’s another Fresh-From-Florida favorite:  Mullet can be found in bays and estuaries along the Florida coasts in both the Atlantic and the Gulf of Mexico.  Historically, mullet has been eaten throughout the world since the days of the Roman Empire. While many prefer to enjoy mullet smoked or pan-fried, it’s also excellent baked, broiled or poached.  Mullet is a healthy choice as it is high in protein and loaded with potassium, iron, B-Vitamins, and heart-healthy Omega-3s.
