Although Grouper are available year-round, they’re most plentiful off our shores between April and October.  Grouper can be enjoyed grilled, broiled, baked or steamed.  Blackened grouper is a local favorite.  This fish can also be a tasty as part of a sandwich or tucked into a taco shell with your favorite seasonings and toppings.  Easy-to-make recipes for another favorite, Jerk Grouper, can also be found online.  At any given time, Delaware sells black or red grouper.
