Freshwater Bream

Sometimes referred to as common bream or “panfish”, Freshwater Bream can be found throughout the lakes, rivers, and canals of Florida.  These fish are a member of the Carp family and are perfect for pan-frying, but are also delicious baked or poached (with a side or horseradish sauce).  Freshwater bream contains no saturated fat or cholesterol, and his high in protein and essential vitamins and minerals.  They are also a great source of Omega-3 fatty acids.
