A local favorite, Conch (pronounced “konk”) is found throughout the Caribbean, including the Bahamas (where cracked conch is extremely popular), as well as off the shores of Bermuda and the Florida Keys.  Conch can be steamed, be the star of a refreshing conch salad or ceviche, or everyone’s favorite – battered and deep fried conch fritters! Conch meat should be tenderized before preparing…something our seafood specialists at Delaware are more than happy to do if you ask!
